Senior HVAC Technician
$40–$48/hour base pay
Reports to the job daily in Rocky Mount, VA

As a Senior HVAC Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert in the field leading installs, resolving tough technical issues, and guiding the next generation of techs. Servicing Roanoke, Franklin County, and the Smith Mountain Lake area, your day-to-day includes:
Leading HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation for light commercial and residential clients
Diagnosing and resolving complex electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
Conducting routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
Mentoring and training apprentices, ensuring skill development and job readiness
Ensuring clear communication with customers and documenting all service activity professionally
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 10 years of professional HVAC experience
Proven ability to mentor and train apprentices or junior technicians
Strong communication and leadership skills
Work references from past supervisors, managers, or coworker
Clean driving record (no more than 1 violation in the last 3 years)
Clean background check and acceptable references
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Pre-employment and random drug testing are required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to safely enter/exit service vehicles
Lift heavy tools and HVAC equipment as required
Work in various weather conditions with strict safety protocols
Capable of bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and standing for long periods
